About Leila Chambers

Leila Chambers has worked in the medical and dental office management profession for 17 years. She started as a receptionist, working her way up experiencing first hand the positions of insurance biller, accounts receivable and collections manager, data entry operator, bookkeeper, office manager, and finally administrator for a multi-physician group medical practice. Ms. Chambers also has been the regional manager for an integrated healthcare delivery system where she coordinated marketing efforts and strategy development.
Currently an instructor at Cuesta College, Leila has a B.S. in Business Administration and a teaching credential in Business Education. Mrs. Chambers is the co-author of Standard Operating Procedures for All Doctors, Standard Operating Procedures for Primary Care Physicians, Specialized SOPs for Primary Care Physicians, Specialized SOPs for Pediatricians, and Specialized SOPs for OBGYNs. Leila is also a member of the Central Coast Medical Managers Association and the Professional Association of Healthcare Office Managers.
